Royal Rajasthan
The land of a thousand thrones
For over a millennium, Rajasthan was a constellation of royal courts — Mewar, Marwar, Amber, Bikaner, Jaisalmer — each with its own colour, its own jewel, its own song. The women of these courts dressed not for fashion but for legend: in poshaks of jewel-toned silk, in odhanas heavy with real gold, in jewels that carried the history of their dynasty.
MaharaniSAA draws directly from this lineage — translating the visual language of these queens into garments a modern woman might wear to her own coronation.
OUR BEGINNING
Born of Rajasthan
MaharaniSAA is a Rajasthan-born house of poshak, built on a simple purpose — to carry the tradition and craft of Rajasthani royal attire to women across India and beyond. As manufacturers rooted in this craft, we work directly with artisans to bring authentic bandhani, gota patti, zardozi, kundan and thikri work to every piece we create. With delivery centres across Delhi, Noida, Kanpur, Orai, Agra and Gwalior, we serve customers across India — and our vision reaches further still: to see Rajasthani heritage worn and celebrated, not just within the state, but across the country and around the world.

The Process
From sketch to heirloom

Design
Every collection begins with archival research — miniature paintings, palace frescoes, museum textiles.
- II.
Fabric
Silks are commissioned in Banaras and Murshidabad; cotton in Kota; tissue in Chanderi.
- III.
Embroidery
The design is traced onto fabric and stretched on an addaa. Embroidery takes 200–600 hours.
- IV.
Finishing
Cut, lined, hand-stitched and quality-checked at three stations before final packing.
